Gran Canaria markets:

On Wednesday and Saturday there is a market in San Fernando (the Spanish quarter that borders Playa del Ingles). When you take the taxi you say "el mercado" (+/- 3.5 €). Here is also the municipal market hall. The market is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In San Fernando there is a flea market on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is in the same place as the regular market. Every two weeks this market is expanded with a farmers market with all kinds of products produced by the local farmers.
There is also a large market in Puerto de Mogan. This is on Friday and Monday. It is also a nice place to visit and have a bite to eat at the harbor. Next to the fish market is a fish restaurant where you can enjoy the daily freshly caught fish. The market is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. there is a large market in Arguineguín. This is the largest market in Gran Canaria. This takes place in Calle Paco Gonzalez. If you like fish, you can enjoy the freshly caught fish in the many fish restaurants in Arguineguín. In addition to the fish market in the harbor is a busy typical Spanish fish restaurant.
