There are several ways to get to the apartment in Playa del Ingles:
A. Nick airport transfer:
A Dutch company about which we hear good stories.
See the website for more information and requests: Nick Gran Canaria
B. Sun Transfers:
You will find all information and rates via the Sun Transfers website. You can also book the transfer in advance via this website:
A private taxi, for example, costs 56.10 euros for a return (according to the information on the website, dated 02-01-2020).
We have heard from guests that the service is good and that they themselves take into account a delayed or early arrival. They will wait for you at the airport with a name sign.
Another option is to book a Shuttle Bus through Sun Transfers. This costs 18.40 euros for a return (according to the information on the website, dated 02-01-2020). This is of course cheaper, but then you use a bus that also contains other guests who have to be dropped off elsewhere.
C. Regular bus (costs: approximately 4.00 euros pp, one way):
The scheduled services to Gran Canaria are provided by Global
The journey to Playa del Ingles takes approximately 25 to 40 minutes:
-Line 30: departure every half hour (fastest route).
-Line 90: departs every hour (this line has more frequent stops at stops).
Then walk to the exit of the baggage claim area, turn right past the SPAR, go up the escalator and then back 180 degrees. You will then see the signs Bus / Global (blue). Follow these signs and you will arrive at the bus stop where the buses to Playa del Ingles arrive (see the signs). There you will wait for the bus to Playa del Ingles.
The luggage must be placed in the boot of the bus at the bottom.
After about half an hour by bus you will arrive in Playa del Ingles.
If you come by bus, get off just past shopping center CITA, at the roundabout on Avenida de Tirajana. You press the button as soon as you see a large clown doll with a hat at the CITA on the right side of the bus. You then get off at the stop at the corner of the first roundabout just after the Cita. Cross the street to Apartamentos Aloe. Now walk 100 meters along Aloe. The entrance to Aloe number 142 (second building of the complex) is on the corner between the Party-Party shop and Supermercado Cordillo. Here we are waiting for you.
After Aloe you continue by bus and get off at the next roundabout. Then you will find yourself opposite Iguazu 3 on Avenida de Tirajana. You will then meet us at the entrance of Iguazu on Avenida de Tirajana.
After Iguazu 3, continue by bus and get off at the next roundabout (which is located at the Playa del Sol complex, just before the Yumbo) on Avenida de Tirajana. Walk on Avenida de Tirajana for about 150 meters towards San Fernando. You will then find the Tanife complex on the left side of Avenida de Tirajana. You will meet us at the entrance.
D. Taxi (approximately 45 euros, one way):
Taxis are not expensive in Gran Canaria.
You will find the taxis in front of the exit of the arrivals hall, right in front of the exit of the baggage hall.
For Aloe it is best to have the taxi stop at the corner of Apartamentos Aloe at the Supermercado Cordillo (on Avenida de Tirajana). Next to this supermarket is also the entrance to the apartment.
As for Iguazu, get dropped off in front of the entrance of Apartamentos Iguazu 3, on Avenida de Tirajana, halfway between the Cita and the Yumbo.
For Tanife, get dropped off in front of the reception entrance of Apartamentos Tanife on Avenida de Tirajana, almost opposite the Yumbo.
We request that you call us, send us an SMS or Whatsapp as soon as you leave the airport by bus or taxi. We can then estimate what time you will arrive at the apartment.
E. Other transfer options:
Of course there are several other options. For example, you can also book the transfer via the site of the airline where you also book the flights.
F. Rent a car:
You can also rent a car from the airport. This is not expensive in Gran Canaria.
In particular, we would like to recommend renting a car through Nick, a Dutchman who also lives in Gran Canaria. You will find all the information on the website: Nick Gran Canaria
We also hear positive reports about renting a car through Cicar
